Does your band have what it takes to be this year’s Ozine Fest Battle of the Bands winner? Then start strumming those guitars, and banging those drums; for this year’s Ozine Fest will be another memorable year - as the winner of this competition will be joining last year’s winner “Haponesang Dilat” to take place in making a recording cut for our upcoming Manga.
Band members must consist of at least 1 Guitarist, Bassist, Vocalist, and drummer. If your band has this, then book your slot by emailing us at: battleofthebands@otakuzine-mag.com with the following information:
Name of Band, Members Name (Please apply real name), Contact Details, Email, and Cell Phone Number.

Wait for our confirmation. Please be advised that you only have to send one (1) email message. We will be accepting ten (10) bands. Each band is required to perform one (1) whole song and one (1) TV Size music from an Anime Series, OAVs. Limited slots available.
An Ozine Staff representative will be contacting you to confirm your booking for the Ozine Fest Battle of the Bands. An email confirmation will be emailed to you and you will need to print it, and bring it during the contest for proper confirmation. Rules and other details will also be emailed to the email address you provided on your registration form.
Each band member must present an Ozine Fest Ticket purchased from the ticket booth, or from our affiliates. The No ticket, No Contest policy will be strictly implemented. The Contest will be divided into two (2) days to distribute batches of contestants. 1st day (April 3) at 2:00PM, and 2nd day (April 4) also at 2:00PM. Chosen bands must be at the venue by 1:00pm. The Top Three finalists will perform on the last day of the event (April 5). *The top three finalists that will perform on Sunday (April 5) will receive a free pass courtesy of the Ozine Fest Team.
The organizers have the right to reject all contestants without prior notice.
Best Band will receive Php 2,000.00 and a contract to be part of the manga soundtrack with last year’s winner “Haponesang Dilat” on the launch of PSICOM’s new manga.
